Indiana Bond Bank Attends Groundbreaking Ceremony in the City of Huntingburg

On July 16, 2024, the Indiana Bond Bank attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Wastewater Treatment Plant in the City of Huntingburg. This project, which plans to invest up to $50 million, aims to replace the current aging infrastructure and support the city's continued growth.

Funding for the project comes from multiple federal and state agencies, including the Indiana Bond Bank (IBB). The City of Huntingburg is utilizing the IBB’s Interim Loan Program (ILP), which provides short-term financing for design and construction costs associated with USDA-Rural Development projects. The ILP Program features pooled monthly closings, a streamlined application and review process, and competitive interim finance rates.
